Description
The Assault class is equipped for close-quarters melee combat. Jump Packs allow these squads to quickly close in on the enemy, dropping from the sky in their midst. Striking hard and fast at vulnerable points in enemy lines, this class uses speed and maneuverability to exploit enemy weaknesses.

Multiplayer
In multiplayer the Assault class is equipped with Jump Packs that allow them to quickly move around the battlefield and perform a devastating Ground Pound attack from the air. They can equip powerful melee weaponry including the Chainsword, Power Axe, and Thunder Hammer and Power Sword along with side-arms like the Bolt Pistol and Plasma Pistol. The Assault class can be key to breaking an enemy's grip on the battlefield. They can also equip a Bolter to replace their Bolt Pistol with the True Grit perk making them more deadly.
Class Perks
- Air-Cooled Thrusters – Increases the Jump Pack recharge rate between jumps.
- Blast Off – Engine exhaust when jumping away causes damage to enemies.
- Death From Above – Improved damage when executing a Ground Pound with a Jump Pack.
- Final Vengeance – When you are killed, your Jump Pack detonates, causing damage to nearby enemies.
- Furious Charge – Charge causes increased damage.
- Impenetrable – Increased resistance to damage from ranged weapons.
- Sure Strike – Increases the effectiveness of the Interrupt attacks.
- True Grit – Equip the Bolter in place of the Bolt Pistol, holding it one-handed.
Weapon Perks
- Axeman's Zeal – Regain a small amount of health with every attack.
- Bolt Pistol Magazine – Increases the amount of ammo for the Bolt Pistol.
- Killing Blow – Strikes with the Thunder Hammer kill all opponents with a single, direct blow.
- Plasma Heat Sink – Increases the amount of time it takes for the Plasma Pistol to overheat.
- Power Swordsman's Zeal – Regain a small amount of health with every attack.
- Swordsman's Zeal – Regain some health with each successful strike of the Chainsword.
