Gretchin are a smaller subspecies of Orks, weaker and more cowardly, and generally used as menial labor, amusement, or meat shields. Gretchin attack in mobs, and although relatively harmless to a Space Marine, they can serve well as a distraction for something bigger and more deadly.

Strategy

Gretchin are extremely weak, usually killed by a single bolter round or melee attack, unless shot at from extreme range, when basic weapons might not kill them. They can be Executed instantly without stunning them, which actually makes them somewhat useful in prolonged fights.
